Wanna Gammeldag? The Saturday after Father’s Day is Peterson’s chance to share the traditions of the city founders! We kick off this celebration with a parade down Mill Street. The parade is always full of fun but one major highlight in 2024 - Maynard Thompson will be on a float directing the all-school reunion band. That band will also play a concert during the afternoon at the historic bandstand! Gammel Dag is a celebration of the good old days which Friends of Peterson have researched and proudly presents to you on one of the longest days of the year with delicious food, delightful folk art, and music!
